Vivica A. Fox Hasn’t Spoken to Jada Pinkett Smith Since Criticizing Will Smith’s Oscars Slap Vivica A. Fox was critical of Jada Pinkett Smith following Will’s Oscar slap at Chris Rock. Fox says she hasn’t spoken to Jada but believes Will deserves redemption.  “Will Smith was defending her honor; that’s the reason he walked on stage and slapped [him] because he felt like his wife had been offended, so for me to see no accountability as a partner,” she said.  Fox initially criticized Jada for the lack of response following the Oscars. After Will took to social media to apologize, Fox said, “We all make mistakes. If there’s one person that deserves a second chance, it is him.” “Also, let’s not forget, Chris Rock was assaulted. We cannot forget that for basically telling a joke that I really felt wasn’t that bad,” said Fox.  Do you think Will Smith deserves redemption?
