Swizz Beatz and Timbaland Set To Release a “Verzuz” Documentary Produced by Lena Waithe Swizz Beats and Timbaland are teaming up with Lena Waithe to create a Verzuz-inspired documentary. It will be called Gifted & Black. The documentary will detail the rise of Verzuz and explore, the traditions of Black music to connect, going from the plantation to the Pulitzer Prize. Gifted & Back will feature interviews and archived footage of how Verzuz used Black music to uplift and unite during a time of uncertainty. It will be released on Amazon Prime.
