Spotify Announces Kendrick Lamar Mini-Doc On His Ghana Trip Kendrick Lamar first visited Ghana after releasing Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. His journey was filmed for Spotify. He meets young fans and hits the beach in the first 15-second trailer. Lamar was having so much fun, that he forgot what day it was. “I couldn’t even tell you what day it is,” says Kendrick, whose song “We Cry Together” soundtracks the clip. “I’m just being in the moment. This life sh_t, it’s all about an experience. And everybody got they own different experience.” The documentary debuts sometime next week. Kendrick will also perform as part of Spotify’s Cannes Lions Festival programming on June 20. Starting July 19, he will bring his live show across the globe on “The Big Steppers Tour,” which kicks off in Oklahoma City. What do you want your life experience to be?
