Spike Lee To Receive DGA Lifetime Achievement Award Spike Lee will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Achievement in Motion Picture Direction at the Directors Guild of America (DGA). This is the highest honor DGA gives out. He will receive the award at the 74th annual award show on Saturday, March 12th. Spike is the first Black director to receive the award. He joins people like, Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott and more in receiving this award. What is your favorite Spike Lee movie?
