In addition to being the parent of one of the most brilliant brains in the history of hip hop, Snoop Dogg‘s father has a lot more to his name than that, and his services to society have finally been acknowledged.
On Sunday, Vernell Varnado was present at the official debut of a documentary that was based on his life. Varnado’s devotion to the United States during the Vietnam War and his career in the Michigan Postal devotion, which spanned two and a half decades, are both chronicled in The Detroit Mailman.
