Samuel L. Jackson Teases A Young Nick Fury In Secret Invasion Image

Samuel L. Jackson To Receive Honor at NAACP Image Awards Samuel L. Jackson will receive the Chairman’s Award at the 53rd NAACP awards. The award is given to an individual who demonstrates, exemplary public service and use their distinct platforms to create agents of change. In the 1960’s Samuel L Jackson was an activist during the Civil Rights movement. He even served as an usher at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s funeral. Previous recipients of this award include Tyler Perry, Barack Obama when he was Senator Obama. the late Rep. John Lewis and U.S. Rep Maxine Waters. The awards will air on February 26 at 8pm on BET.
