Ryan Drake’s Scary Movie Marathon For Halloween Season Part 3
We are on Part 3 of my must watch movies for the Halloween season. Here are numbers 20-11…..
20. Psycho (1960)
This is the movie that changed the Horror genre for good. Alfred Hitchcock’s masterpiece still holds up to todays standards. And the lady that dies in the shower is Jamie Lee Curtis’s real life mother, Janet Leigh! This is most definitely a Halloween season must watch.
19. Children of The Corn (1984)
Another Stephen King classic on display here. You know, just a bunch of kids killing off their parents, and taking over their town. It’s just a normal day in Nebraska! 100% a must watch this Halloween season.
18. Night of The Living Dead (1968)
George A. Romero’s ultimate classic. This movie is still pretty damn creepy. It started the whole Zombie phenomenon. That makes it a Halloween season must watch.
17. Paranormal Activity
Do you like jump scares? Maybe you like reality TV? Are you a fan of the paranormal? Put all 3 of those together and you get Paranormal Activity. Great date night flick and a must watch for the Halloween season.
16. Insidious
Demons in the afterlife terrorizing a nice family, and kidnapping their souls! Jump scares and pretty darn scary. That makes it a Halloween season must watch.
15. Hocus Pocus
Not a scary movie by any means, but a great family Halloween flick. The Sanderson sisters come back to take revenge on the town who got rid of them many years ago in Salem, MA. Bette Midler is amazing, and this is always a must watch for the Halloween season.
14. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Tobe Hooper’s sadistic flick took the world by storm in 1974. This kind of brutality wasn’t a normal thing in movies for the time. We get introduced to the infamous Leatherface in this must watch Halloween season classic.
13. IT (2017)
This is another masterpiece from Stephen King. Pennywise the Clown comes to the big screen. Such a well made movie that really gives us some brutal scares. Make this a must watch this Halloween season, or “you’ll float too”!
12. Hellraiser (1987)
Pinhead will tear your soul apart in this Clive Barker classic. They recently released a remake on Hulu as well. This is a classic must watch movie for the Halloween season.
11. Jeepers Creepers
I really enjoyed this movie. A few jump scares, good plot, and decent acting. We get introduced to the Creeper in this one. It’ll make you ask the question, what’s eating you?! A must watch for The Halloween season.
