Rich Homie Quan’s Father Announces Plan For Public Funeral Service For Atlanta Rapper
Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan‘s funeral is being planned after his death last week. The rapper, born Dequantes Devontay Lamar, died at home on Thursday (September 5). His age was 33.

Lamar’s girlfriend’s 911 call was leaked by TMZ. After dropping off their son at school, Amber Williams said she found Lamar’s lifeless body on a couch.

Multiple sources said the father of five died from a heroin overdose, but the Fulton County Medical Examiner told FOX 5 they are awaiting test results.

Quan’s father and manager, Corey Lamar, called Yung Joc’s Streetz Morning Takeover Radio show on Monday (September 9) to say he intended to do a quick private service to “start the healing process,” but changed his mind.
