Questlove Named Musical Director of 2021 Oscars Questlove has been hired as the musical director of the 2021 Oscars. Jesse Collins along with two others are producing the 93rd Oscars. Questlove posted a screen shot of an article making the announcement and captioned it, Yeeeeaaahh Boyeeeeeee and credited Flavor Flav. Questlove is currently the music director of the Tonight Show on NBC. The Oscars will air on Sunday April 25th on ABC.
