Post Malone settles Circles songwriting lawsuit out of court

Post Malone settled a lawsuit about who authored “Circles” in 2019. Tyler Armes, a composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and member of the Canadian rap-rock band “Down With Webster,” sued Malone after an all-night jam session with rapper and producer Frank Dukes in August 2018.

He said he wrote “Circles” during the session. Post claimed Armes wasn’t due the five percent Post’s manager allegedly promised him. Before the jury was selected, both parties advised the court they had agreed to settle the case and will have until May to finalize the deal.

With Posty settling the case, do you see it as an admission that Armes did contribute to the song?
