Porsha Williams Denies She Threw Shade at Nicki Minaj

Former Real Housewife of Atlanta star Porsha Williams had to go on the defense on Monday (September 19) after she made a post featuring several female MCs.

Following the posting of a meme featuring nine black female rappers, Williams’ name began to trend on social media on Monday. The text on the Instagram post read:

Thank you for making [not you] female rap about unity,” with the “not you” appearing in red atop a black-and-white photo of Minaj. “Guys, calm down! I love @nickiminaj,” Williams wrote on Instagram. “I saw this and posted it quickly, thinking it was a salute to all these Queens, including Queen @nickiminaj! No news here. No shade either.
