Police officer involved in Breonna Taylor shooting trying to get his job back The police officer who was fired after the shooting of Breonna Taylor is now looking to get his job back. Myles Cosgrove was fired at the beginning of the year for the shooting death of Taylor in March 2020. Cosgrove has filed a petition to get his job back with the Louisville Metro Police, who will hold a hearing on the matter. Cosgrove was fired for “failing to properly identify a target.” Should Cosgrove get his job back?
