Nicki Minaj Responds To J. Prince Urging Her + Kanye, Drake & More To Hold A ‘Hip Hop’ Show On Grammy Night The Grammys are a little over a week away and Rap-A-Lot head, J. Prince isn’t here for the shenanigans. He spoke out over the Grammys banning Kanye due to “concerns with his online behavior” J. Prince is now calling on the “Donda” rapper to join with other big names such as The Weeknd, Drake, and Nicki Minaj to come together for a concert to be held the same night at the Grammys.  Prince likened the Grammys’ move to a “slave mentality,” saying, “This is a slave master, punish a n__a mentality and act to remind us that no matter how much money we have, we’re still n___as in their eyes.”   “I recommend that the artists I mentioned above—and more—come together in Las Vegas and perform at the same time as the Grammys on a special network and streaming platform to prove that ratings will change where the Grammys are concerned when the No. 1 selling genre in music—hip-hop—come together,” he said. “Because there’s power in numbers.”  To which Nicki responded with “respect” and the prayer hand emoji.  Do you think having artists perform at the same time as the Grammys would be a good move?
