Netflix and Sony Pictures Ink Exclusive, Multiyear Film Licensing Deal

Netflix And Sony Pictures Sign Huge Exclusive Streaming Deal Netflix and Sony just signed a huge multi-year deal that changes the landscape of the streaming world. Starting in 2022, Netflix will be the exclusive streaming home for all Sony Pictures movies.  That includes future movies for big-name franchises like Spider-Man, Venom, Jumanji, and Bad Boys. The move gives Netflix a major studio partner similar to the deal HBO Max shares with parent company Warner Brothers. What kind of impact will this have on the streaming landscape?  Will big Hollywood movies go back to being theater-exclusive, or we keep seeing big releases on streaming platforms?
