Nas Wins His First Grammy

Nas Wins First Grammy After 13 Nominations and 25 Years After 25 years and 13 albums, Nas finally won a Grammy. He won for for his 13th album King’s Disease in the Best Rap Album category. Also in the category was D Smoke, Freddie Gibbs, Jay Electronica and Royce da 5’9. Nas was first nominated for his 1996 song If I Ruled The World ftg Lauryn Hill. It did not win. Many felt Freddie Gibbs should have won the Best Rap Album award but can’t deny Nas is a legend who has made classic albums. Should he have won the Grammy last night?
