“Angel of Mine” Hitmaker Monica Is Working on a Country Album R&B singer Monica says her next project will be a country album She has been in Nashville collaborating on the project with Brandi Carlile Monica said her love of country music was inspired by her stepfather. She grew up inspired by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. Monica was recently featured on Jimmie Allen’s Bettie James Gold Edition album. She is on the song, Pray.
