Missy Elliott To Receive MTV’s Video Vanguard Award

Missy Elliott is going to make history at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards. The first female Hip Hop artist inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame will also become the first female rapper to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. The 2019 VMAs are scheduled to take place August 26 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey
