Missy Elliot recently made history by becoming the first female rapper to earn an induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.
The Chairman of The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame said,
This year’s incredible group of inductees reflects the diverse artists and sounds that define rock & roll. We are honored that this November’s Induction Ceremony in New York will coincide with two milestones in music culture; the 90th birthday of Willie Nelson and the 50th Anniversary of the birth of hip-hop.
DJ Kool Herc will also be honored at this year’s ceremony with the Music Excellence Award, and the ceremony will take place later this year.
What other female rappers do you think deserve to be inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame?
