Megan Thee Stallion suing record label over ‘album’ definition

Megan Thee Stallion Suing Record Label Megan Thee Stallion is suing her record label ‘1501 Certified Entertainment’ over a dispute on “Something For Thee Hotties” released as a mixtape in 2021. The lawsuit claims that Megan “clearly meets the definition of “Album”, not a mixtape. She claims the label wants to keep her locked in her contract for longer, so they can profit from her sales. This isn’t the first time Megan has taken the label to court. Back in 2020, she filed a claim that the label was stopping her from releasing new music due to renegotiation with the terms of her contract. Have you ever sued anyone? Could you still work for a company you were suing?
