Lizzo To Serve As Host & Musical Guest on ‘SNL’ This Saturday Lizzo will be both the musical guest as well as the host. She was the musical guest on the highly rated episode when Eddie Murphy returned to SNL in 2019. Lizzo is in New York preparing and tweeted, I’m in NYC about to host and perform on SNL. This ain’t even bucket list. This is beyond my dreams. I’m shaking. As of 2021 35 musicians have pulled ‘double duty’ as both the host and the musical guest on SNL.
