Live Nation & Travis Scott Denies Report That Egypt Show Is Cancelled

Despite speculations that it had been cancelled, Travis Scott‘s upcoming Utopia concert at the Pyramids of Giza is expected to proceed as scheduled.

According to Live Nation “there have been no changes to Travis Scott’s show in Egypt; any reports to the contrary are false.”

According to Rolling Stone, Live Nation issued a brief statement on Tuesday (July 18) reassuring fans that the concert will still be held on July 28 at the revered site.

Live Nation said,

There have been no changes to Travis Scott’s show in Egypt. Any reports to the contrary are false. We can’t wait to celebrate Utopia with you in Egypt!

The news comes following reports that the permission for the Houston rapper’s concert was withdrawn by the Egyptian General Syndicate for Musical Professions, a body in charge of approving and awarding permits for concerts.
