Lil Yachty Says Georgia Boycotts Won’t Change Voting Laws
Lil Yachty Says Georgia Boycotts Won’t Change Voting Laws TMZ caught up with Lil Yachty as he was leaving dinner at Delilah in WeHo, or West Hollywood for those of us not living in Los Angeles, and he was asked about the recently enacted voting laws that would make it harder for people of color to get out and vote. Yachty says he isn’t worried about businesses that vow to cease production and operations in Georgia affecting the state’s economy. The Atlanta rapper feels that businesses won’t be away for too long and even if they don’t come back, it won’t sway lawmakers to reverse course. When asked for advice for Georgia voters, Yachty simply said it was important for people to be educated on the new laws. Do you think businesses boycotting Georgia will make lawmakers reverse course on the voting laws?
