LeBron James The Shop Scraps Kanye West Episode

LeBron James‘ The Shop was formerly on HBO, now airs on his Uninterrupted YouTube channel. If you have never seen it, the show takes place in a barbershop where guests from Jay-Z to Bad Bunny to Quinta Brunson come in and talk with LeBron and his business partner Maverick Carter on a variety of topics.

Maverick Carter took to social media to explain that the latest episode of The Shop was pulled over comments Kanye made on the show. He explained Kanye was booked weeks ago.

He said he spoke with Kanye the day before the taping. Maverick wrote;

Kanye was capable of a respectful discussion and he was ready to address all his recent comments. Unfortunately he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes. Maverick concluded the post by writing, I take full responsibility for believing Kanye wanted a different conversation and apologize to our guests and crew. Hate speech should never have an audience.
