Lamar Odom Recalls Calling Kobe Bryant To Help With Gambling Debt Lamar Odom was a guest on Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson’s “All The Smoke” podcast when he recalled one of the last times speaking with Kobe Bryant.  Odom said he had been gambling and his debt got too high for him and he had no choice but to call Kobe Bryant for help.  Although Kobe wasn’t happy about Odom’s actions, he eventually gave him the money to settle his debt.  Odom says the last time he spoke with Bryant was a conversation about being “great.” Do you think Lamar Odom will live up to Kobe’s expectations of “being great?”
