Kendrick Lamar Performs Intimate Set In Front Of JAY-Z & Beyoncé In NYC Kendrick Lamar performed an intimate set for JAY-Z and Beyoncé at Dumbo House in New York after his Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers Tour at the Barclays Center.  Lamar performed “The Heart Part 5,” where he thanked Jay for letting him borrow the line, “I do this for my culture”—from his 2001 The Blueprint hit “Izzo (H.O.V.A.)”—free of charge. Several celebrities were in attendance on Friday for “Club Renaissance,” including  Donald Glover, Janelle Monáe, Chloe Bailey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tyler Perry, Trevor Noah, La La Anthony, and Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles. Questlove gushed over the event, which included Beyoncé’s album played in its entirety three times, “I never seen nothin like this. Like I dunno if I even want her to tour this jawn or throw an immaculate dance a thon in which people will just perform the LP for her,” tweeted Quest.  If you could party with any celebrity, who would it be?
