Kanye West Named Songwriter of the Year at 2021 BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music Awards Kanye West has won Songwriter of the Year at the 2021 BMI Trailblazer of Gospel Music Awards. He received the award for writing Hands On, On God and Selah. The songs were on his 9th studio album, Jesus Is King. Who had a better gospel album, Kanye or Snoop?
