‘Jeen-Yuhs’ Director Coodie Discusses Not Giving Kanye West Creative Control Before the Netflix documentary, jeen-yuhs aired, Kanye demanded to have creative control. He did not receive it. Both directors, Coodie and Chike were on The Tamron Hall Show and shared why they would not give him creative control. They said the story was not about Kanye or about them, the directors. The story was about the dreamers. They said they know Kanye watched part 1 of the documentary because he watched it with them. They do not know if he watched part 2 or 3.
