Jay-Z's New Album Rumors Start Again After Photo of Video Shoot Pops Up

Director Hidji posted a photo of himself on a video set with a clapperboard reading “JAY Z — 2024 Album.” on his Instagram Story on Sunday (January 28). The image has fueled new claims that Hov may release a new album this year.

JAY-Z’s company, Roc Nation, reposted a blogger’s piece regarding Jay-Z’s album rumors on X, formerly Twitter, saying,

If Jay-Z releases a new album this year, it will be his first full-length in nearly seven years. His last album, 4:44, was released in June 2017.

The rumors of a new album started last year when Christie’s Auctions held an auction for 14 library cards that represented JAY’s 13 albums; however, the 14th card featured a blue background with “The Book of HOV” on it, which many believed signaled a new album was in the works.
