Page Six reports that on September 30, Hov’s celebrity tournament would take place at the Oceans Casino Resort in Atlantic City. The private blackjack party will feature a $1 million pot, with a $100,000 entrance fee buy-in for participants, so there will be plenty of money moving across the casino floor.
It comes as no surprise, though, that celebrities like Travis Scott, Megan Thee Stallion, Kim Kardashian, DJ Khaled, NBA player James Harden, and model Emily Ratajkowski are likely to be on the guest list. The REFORM Alliance board is hosting the event, and Kevin Hart has been chosen as the emcee.
According to its website, the group “aims to transform probation and parole by changing laws, systems, and culture to create true pathways to employment and well-being.” In addition to the $20 million he raised with his Shawn Carter Foundation Gala in July, the Brooklyn businessman intends to generate an extra $20 million for REFORM Alliance via the blackjack competition.
