Jamie Foxx Gets Emotional In First Public Speech Since Hospitalization

Jamie Foxx recently accepted the Vanguard Award at the Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of Cinema & Television: Honoring Black, Latino, and AAPI Achievements with an impassioned speech.

The actor/singer was hospitalized in April for an unidentified “medical complication” and has kept a quiet profile since. The Burial co-star Jurnee Smollett presented Foxx with an award for his work, and he choked up as he recalled his health concern.
