Will Smith‘s first wife, Sheree Zampino, joined Red Table Talk for the second time. They talked about a time when Jada Pinkett Smith crossed the line with Sheree.
It happened before Jada had children of her own. She found out Trey, Will and Sheree’s son had misbehaved at a playdate and Jada confronted Sheree about it. Sheree recalls saying, go get his daddy, please.
Why are you talking about what happens at my house over here? Sheree says Jada was out of line but knows that she did not mean any harm. Jada recalled a moment when Sheree walked into her and Will’s bedroom. Jada said, I couldn’t say nothing. It was as if Sheree was saying, ‘you need to know who queen bee is around here.’ They shared a way they got through difficult conversations. At custody exchanges, if there was an issue they were unable to discuss in person they would pass a journal back and forth.
