J. Cole Confirms New Music Coming Before 2021 Via Alter Ego J. Cole is promising new music before 2021 but J. Cole won’t be the one delivering the music but his alter ego, kiLL Edward. “Damn been off for awhile but ima [sic] make sure we end 2020 something special,” he wrote on the alter ego’s Instagram page. “Stay tuned hope y’all ready.”  Cole told fans he isn’t pressured to put out The Fall Off, his next anticipated album.  Cole recently released the EP, Lewis Street, back in July. Who has a better ego? J Cole’s “KiLL Edward” or Kendrick Lamar’s “K. Dot”
