Ice Cube Says Tom Brady Needs To Prove He’s ‘Raider Worthy’

Ice Cube is very knowledgeable about sports, and he not only owns BIG3, a 3-on-3 professional basketball league, but Las Vegas also refers to him as the “President of Raiders Nation,” honoring a tradition of NFL support that extends back to the 1980s, when the silver and black won championships.

Ice Cube might not be the most famous person associated with the Raiders now that future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady is expected to become a minority owner of the team and has also sparked unending speculations of another comeback to the field. He isn’t so sure, though, that Brady’s involvement will be as significant early on as some anticipate.

He’s a rookie with the Raiders, so he might have to go get donuts. (We) might need him to get coffee, grab a couple luggage, grab a couple bags, you know what I’m saying? So we’ll see how his rookie year goes, and if he’s Raider worthy, he’ll get a spot on the squad. But right now, he a rookie. And he better remember he a rookie.
