Eminem’s “Stan” Surpassed 1 Billion Streams on Spotify

The iconic “The Marshall Mathers LP” song has joined the streaming platform’s 1 Billion Club. “Stan”—the album’s third single—is Eminem‘s ninth song to reach this streaming milestone.

The song is one of Marshall’s most impactful and recognizable due to its engaging story and Dr. Dre’s production.  The lyrics challenged pop-idol society and added a new term to the Oxford dictionary. Rae Sremmurd, Millyz, and Drake have laid over their own music to its beat. “Stan” isn’t Em’s most streamed song.
