Drake Wins Grammy Despite Snubbing Awards

Drake recently won his first Grammy in four years despite him refusing to submit any of his latest music for consideration.
He won Best Rap Melodic Performance alongside Future and Tems at last night’s Grammy Awards ceremony. He was nominated for 3 other categories, but he only took home one award.
In 2020, Drake criticized the Grammys and said,
I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artist that exists now and the ones that come after.
