Drake Reflects On His Beef With Meek Mill

Even though Drake and Meek Mill have resolved their conflict, the 6 God was once unwelcome in the Dream Chasers leader’s hometown of Philadelphia. On Monday evening (July 31), Drizzy’s It’s All a Blur Tour arrived in the City of Brotherly Love, where he and co-headliner 21 Savage sold out the Wells Fargo Center for the first of two back-to-back performances.

As has been typical on the popular summer tour, Drake arrived on stage with a special guest, in this case, Meek Mill, a local hero. Shortly after taking the stage, the Toronto native paused to consider his terrible feud with the MMG rapper, in particular the occasion when his former foe drove him out of Philadelphia.

Drake said,

You see who I walked out here with, right? I’ma always keep it a hundred with you. The last time I was in this building, that man right here, he’s been representing this city since he started in this s**t.

He continued,

That man, me and him weren’t getting along at the time, and he’s a real n**ga so he definitely got us up out of Philly real quick. We did not get to stick around and chill. And like I said, I’m a real n**ga so I’ma tell you the truth.
