Doja Cat Reveals Her Tonsil Surgery Means She “Might Have Some Bad News” For Fans Doja Cat took to social media to reveal her addiction to nicotine has caused her to have surgery on her tonsils, which could keep her off stage. The “Give It To Yuh,” singer says she was taking antibiotics and forgot and was drinking wine and vaping, causing her tonsils to get infected with an abscess that had to be cut.  “My whole throat is f*cked so i [sic] might have some bad news for yall coming soon,” Doja tweeted. “He poked up in dere with a needle twice and then sucked all the juice out and then he took a sharp thing and cut it in two places and squoze [sic] all the goop out in dere. i [sic] cried and it hurt a lot but im [sic] ok.” Doja responded to a fan who told her to “throw the whole vape away,” which she said would cause her anxiety. “Throwing them away just instills panic. I’m addicted but I’m not weak,” she said. “I’ma try to go cold turkey for now but hopefully my brain doesn’t need it at all by then… so foh with that ‘THROW IT AWAY THEN QUEEN’ sh*t. that doesn’t help anybody and it just sounds condescending to anybody whos actually struggling w nicotine addiction.
