DJ Quik Reveals He ‘Almost Got Killed’ Over 2Pac Bootleg

DJ Quik Reveals He ‘Almost Got Killed’ Over 2Pac Bootleg A 2Pac CD that was leaked nearly cost DJ Quik his life. During a recent appearance on Talib Kweli’s People’s Party podcast, the seasoned West Coast rapper and producer revealed the revelation and claimed that the incident occurred as a result of a bootleg copy of ‘Pac’s 1996 All Eyez On Me LP getting into the wrong hands. Quik’s security guard took his CD and gave it to friends. Soon enough, unauthorized copies spread throughout Los Angeles. News of the leak reached Death Row CEO Suge Knight. Quik was confronted and beaten down over the tape; he then confronted his security, who told him who he gave the tape to, and they confronted that guy and fought him. Then one of his boys pulls a machine gun on Quik, but security grabs the gun before anything bad happens.  Have you ever been accused of something you didn’t do?
