DJ Envy Says All Rappers Need Jewelry Protection After PnB Rock’s Murder

TMZ caught up with The Breakfast Club co-host, DJ Envy, who thinks all rappers should have protection if they have a large, flashy jewelry collection.  Envy was strolling through LAX when he was asked his thoughts on the matter; the popular radio personality and DJ says when he wears expensive jewelry, he moves with security or personal protection.

He also says there are places where he doesn’t wear jewelry because he knows the “streets are ruthless right now and people are looking for a come up.” Envy made it clear that no piece of jewelry is worth risking jail time or death and that the community needs to look out for one another.
