Dave Chappelle shared in an old stand-up, which has resurfaced online, that he said ‘no’ to playing Bubba in Forrest Gump.
Dave opened up about this incident during a comedy special,
Who could be dumber than Forrest Gump? His Black friend, that’s who.
He continued,
You know he’s going to get killed ’cause he’s too cute.
Chappelle’s biggest problem with the role was how stereotypical the character was in the film.
