DaBaby Requests Trial Postponement Due To Attorney’s Health Issues

DaBaby is facing a legal battle as he pleads with a Los Angeles court to postpone his upcoming civil trial due to his attorney’s life-threatening illness.
The trial stems from an alleged assault incident involving DaBaby and a property owner, Gary Pagar, during a music video shoot in 2020. Despite the fixed trial date of September 3, DaBaby’s lawyer’s health issues have complicated the proceedings, with a prognosis extending his recovery until April 2025.
The court has previously declined to reschedule the trial but may reconsider if both parties can agree on the lawyer’s health status.
