DaBaby Dropped From Two More Festivals, Despite Latest Apology
DaBaby Dropped From Two More Festivals, Despite Latest Apology DaBaby has been dropped from two more festivals after issuing an apology for homophobic remarks he made during and after his performance at Rolling Loud during the weekend of July 23rd. DaBaby has already been dropped from Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, and the Day N Vegas, but now he’s been dropped from the iHeartMusic Festival and Austin City Limits. A statement from DaBaby was released on Monday, however many thought his apology fell short and didn’t seem sincere. During his Rolling Loud performance, he asked the audience to hold up cell phone lights if they “didn’t show up today with HIV/AIDS or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that will make you die in two to three weeks.” Dua Lipa, whom DaBaby collaborated with for the remix of her song, “Levitating,” criticized DaBaby for his comments. Do you think DaBaby being removed from festivals is warranted? What did you think of DaBaby’s apology?
