Dwyane Wade Buys Ownership Stake In Jazz Dwyane Wade is going from retired NBA player to current NBA owner. The former Heat superstar has purchased an ownership stake in the Utah Jazz and plans to take an “active role” in the franchise. A number of former NBA greats are part-owners of NBA teams, including Michael Jordan (Hornets), Shaquille O’Neal (Kings) and Grant Hill (Hawks). Wade is a particular fan of Jazz star Donovan Mitchell, who he’s described as a ‘2.0’ version of himself. What makes a great NBA owner?
