Cardi B Opens Up About How Much She Paid For Bodak Yellow Video

Cardi B‘s huge single “Bodak Yellow” established itself as a game-changing tune that launched her career and smashed numerous records, and she only paid $10k for the music video.

The Bronx native shared a little-known tidbit on Twitter on Tuesday (June 20), along with a screenshot of the music video, which featured her in Dubai, riding camels across the desert, and hanging out with lions.

The video reached the billion-view milestone on YouTube in 2021, making it the female rapper’s fastest-ever achievement of the milestone. Additionally, it elevated Cardi B to the status of becoming the first female rapper to have two YouTube videos with more than 1 billion views, joining her 2018 track “I Like It.”
