Cardi B Becomes First Female Rapper With Two 11x-Platinum Singles

Along with turning 30 on Tuesday (October 11), Cardi B can celebrate her musical accomplishments as two of her singles have gone 11 times platinum. The two singles are ‘Bodak Yellow,’ and her J. Balvin and Bad Bunny-assisted track, “I Like It.” Cardi is the first female rapper with several diamond songs (10 million units).

The Bronx native achieved a record for the female rapper with the most Diamond hits (3). Cardi is the first female rapper to have more than one diamond-certified song (10 million units) and has the most diamond hits of any female rapper (3). The next diamond certifications for Cardi are WAP and G-Eazy’s “No Limit,” featuring Cardi and A$AP Rocky.
