Bronny James Signs NIL Deal with Nike

On Monday, October 10, a NIL endorsement deal with Nike was officially signed by five amateur basketball players, including Bronny James, the eldest son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. James, 37, secured a lifetime contract with Nike in 2015 after working with the company throughout his NBA career.

According to ESPN, Bronny James stated on Monday that continuing his “family’s legacy” with Nike was a factor in his decision to sign the deal. High school guards JuJu Watkins and D.J. Wagner, junior Caitlin Clark from Iowa and senior Haley Jones from Stanford, signed contracts as well.
