Brian Tyree Henry Faces Backlash for Comments About T.I.’s Trap Music Museum

Brian Tyree Henry recently went on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and said he had discovered the T.I. Trap Museum but decided not to visit after hearing about a piece of the display.

I just found out that there’s a trap museum in Atlanta that is literally dedicated to the history of trap music,” Henry told Cole Sprouse, who talked about visiting the Cabbage Patch Kids Babyland in Georgia.  Henry described the museum and some of its contents. He even claimed the exhibit shows people how crack is cooked, “And I was like, ‘I am not going to that,'” said Henry.  Henry plays a rapper with a past of selling drugs in FX’s “Atlanta.” Some fans found it hypocritical, and T.I. responded to Henry after posting a clip of his interview, “We DO NOT TEACH you how to whip work(cook crack). We just ask questions in @escapethetraptmm that only the people who know how can answer.

Do you think Brian Tyree Henry was wrong for judging somewhere he’s never been, or is the Trap Musem concept out of line?
