Cash Money Front Man/rapper Birdman is the latest celebrity to offer a helping hand amid the coronavirus pandemic. On Monday (April 20th) Birdman, born Bryan Williams, announced in an Instagram post that he will be paying the rent for residents of Uptown New Orleans during the month of May.
Birdman isn’t the only celebrity we’ve seen step up to the plate during the spread of the corona virus to help those in need. Rihanna, Jay-Z, & Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey gave $6.2 million towards homeless youth in New Orleans and COVID-19 testing capacity across the Caribbean.
