Ashanti Addresses Rumors She’s Dating FloRida Ashanti has addressed rumors that she is dating FloRida. Yup, the rapper who brought you the party favorite, “Low” has been friends with the former first lady of Murder Inc. or over ten years. The “Rain On Me” singer revealed during her appearance on The Breakfast Club that she and FloRida have been going to each other’s birthday parties for years and this year was no different. “I got a crew of girls and my family, Flo got his crew and his family. We’ve been going to each other’s birthday parties for like 10 years, so I don’t know why it’s such a surprise now,” said Ashanti. Is your best friend a member of the opposite sex?
