OOOOOH MYYYY GOOODNIIISSSS!!! What an unbelievable, no-holds-barred, craaazy double overtime game in the Division 1 District Finals between our Wayne Warriors and Cincinnati Winton Woods!! In the end, Winton won, but it was an incredible game, and Wayne had a great season, led by Travis Trice. Also shoutout to Trotwood, who had an outstanding game and almost came back...but fell in the final seconds to Cincinnati Moeller. Meadowdale also played their hearts too, but fell to La Salle. Troy played a good game, just wasn't enough in the early game at UD Arena on March 12, 2011. Shoutout to Fairmont and Jefferson, they're going to states! Aaaah, my Pittsburgh Steelers lose the Super Bowl...it was truly heartbreaking. I almost shed a tear or two. The Steelers are just so important to me, and my whole immediate family! The Steelers ARE Pittsburgh! It's ok, I guess we'll try to win our 7th Super Bowl another day...but it got me thinking...Dayton has a lot of good talent coming from here and going to college...or even the pros...and we get to see that talent every year when we visit different high school stadiums for the "Game of the Week." The most touted player we saw this past year was Braxton Miller, QB for the Wayne Warriors who will attend Ohio State in this fall.
